Our client asked us to subdivide a prominent corner site in popular Pt Chevalier, Auckland, and replace the existing house with three dwellings consisting of two four-bedroom houses and a five-bedroom home.

During the planning stages, we looked at how we could maximise the outdoor living spaces, utilising the backyard and outlook areas, as well as the direction of the sun. We included a mix of solid and see-through fences to allow for views out, and a visual continuation of planting along the pedestrian path.

All of the town houses were designed to be spacious and light and include high spec appliances, open plan living, kitchen and dining, integrated garages, and multiple sets of doors that open onto a north-facing deck. The external façade monotone aesthetic with a simple material palette achieves the minimal modern look and the ultimate high finish.

Now built, the contemporary houses are currently on the market. Our clients are delighted with the development and we’re sure the new residents will love their low-maintenance, uber-stylish homes in one of Auckland’s most sought-after suburbs.
